| thats cute
but there have been cases of the sweetest dogs just out of nowhere attacking a chin....because they look like prey items to them, no matter how nice the dog and chin geta long... just hoping you might reconsider :/

| My roommates dog loves to sit outside the cage and watch too! lol Her cat loves them even more. He reaches inside to pet them. They love it. Don't worry. He's been de-clawed so it could never hurt them, and, just like the extremely knowledgeable allyson17white, we don't let them out with the big 'uns. I especially won't let my dog near him. She's a big, hyper boxer/border collie mix and looooves to play with her prey. Not a good mix. She's gonna go be my parents guard dog in a week anyway. | |

| My dogs and chin get along just fine and sometimes they give each other licks hahah. The one dog is facinated by him and likes to sit and watch him hop around the room. She knows hes not for eating.... | |

| My dogs are terrified of the chinchillas. It's probably because the chins are not frightened of them and as puppies each and every dog was bitten for getting too close to the cages. I don't let the dogs play with the chins ever, but if I did, the dogs would probably be shivering in a corner as the chins would repeatedly bounce into the them making them scream in terror.
You have to be careful with dogs or cats with chins, that's for sure. It's really great for me that the dogs want nothing to do with the chinchillas at all!
